Prom Night
My dearest sister persuaded my parents not to pay for my prom night. She said that secondary students going to prom night is a privillege, hence if i want to go, i have to pay it myself. My parents both agree with her.
She said that her first prom night was her junior college graduation. So, likewise, i should follow her footsteps. Parents agreed.
However, i wish to go.
I did some calculations. If i go, i need to spend $80 tomorrow and another about $50 or more? for the clothes. So, i will be paying more than $100.
Option 1:
Go for the prom night, and starve for one month.
Starve for one month is impossible because i cant concentrate on my work.
Option 2:
Don't go.
Means i will be missing out fun.
After O level, there are still many things I need to do. All the things (confidential), invovle money, and i have been saving up for that.
So.. to go or not to go.

-Skipped PE, but i still played frisbee with my clique. HuiLing and Grace were funny.

-Received Chinese O level results. I did well but i didnt dare to express my emotions because there were people around me feeling depressed. So I tolerated till I was home and WOOTS with my family.
Today
-STOMACH SUPER PAIN!! Broke down quite a few times. Bombed the toilets 4 times.
-Ate painkiller and went to take my English Oral.
-English Oral was fine. The teachers were very friendly.
-Saw a doctor. Its food poisoning.
Tomorrow
-Not going to school. I need to toilet bowl beside me.

Happy Birthday Wingzzz
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WING TONG!!!!!!!!
Overview:
KaiWen, HaoWei and I waited for PeiQi, Wingz, HuiLing and Melissa outside the IMM entrance. We were so bored that we sat on the stairs and stared into blank space. At about 2.45, everyone was here. Finally!
Went to Pepper Lunch to celebrate Wingz birthday. Ate the food. Waited for Bili and Lixuan to finish their oral consultation and come over. (Sorry ah, keep pestering you two to hurry come over) Then Hao Wei, KaiWen and I presented the ice cream cake to Wingz.
Pepper Lunch does not have plates and their biggest fork was our house dinning fork. So we used bowls to place our cake. At first it was a 'no outside food and drinks' policy but they still allowed us to do so.
Then, celebration over!
Behind the Scene:
Actually, there were a lot of work to be done before all this can work out.
It started yesterday. HuiLing told me that there was a conference call at 10pm and wanted us to call KaiWen. I dragged the time to 10.30pm because of Night Focus. At 10.15pm, I was using MSN, talking to Wingz. She said "KaiWen said 10pm conference call, up to now still haven call." I was confused. At 10.30pm, I called KaiWen, he said, "Huh???!!!!! When did i tell wing tong all about this? And what?? How wing tong know? If wing tong knows, then no surprise liao!!!!" So Im sorry Wing Tong but i have to lie to you that the conference call was cancelled, while Kai Wen had to sms to Wingz ONLY saying "Everyone im sorry but the conference call is unavailable as i am not available," when he only sms to Wingz.
In the conference call, we discussed about when, where, how, what to do.
2am, I received a text message from KaiWen. "My drawing sux...." something like that. Sorry, i was too tired to read the message clearly. KaiWen made a card for Wingz.
At 12pm, KaiWen and I went to IMM to buy present for Wingz. Many things happened after that.
We looked at the directory and realised that there is no confectionary shop. =,=
So we decided to buy the cake at Clementi and asked Bili and Lixuan to pick up the cake.
However, their oral was pushed back by two hours and they might not make it in time.
Luckily, we found out that there is Swensens (I don't know how to spell) so we bought Blackforest cake. I know Wingz like chocolate cake as she said "I don't like chocolate mint, why everyone likes to eat mint???? I like chocolate," yesterday during the purchasing of Guides cookies.
KaiWen called Melissa and Pei Qi to be late so that the lunch would be delay and then Bili and LiXuan can be here just in time for the cake to be served.
Who knows, Wing Tong said she will be very very very late. So we ended up waiting outside the IMM building entrance.
During Lunch, I sms the rest to eat slower so that Bili and Lixuan can rush here in time. Lol!! A big mistake. Everyone received the sms at the same time and once they read the message, they looked at me. Wingz knew what was going on.
When Bili and Lixuan reached, Kai Wen and Hao Wei went to take the cake. Hao Wei came back and whispered to me that he had forgotten to bring the lighter. Then i told him i want to come along as well. Hao Wei said to everyone "KaiWen go toilet da bian don't have tissue paper" then he said "charmaine, i thought you wanna go as well?" Then Im like.. go boys' toilet?? Nvm if you don't understand this part. Its more of a inside joke.
Got the cake and Hao Wei lit up the candles.. then yeah.. thats all for the back scene.

Burn those Memories Away
My right eye hurts. I think its due to the heatiness and hence the small 'ball' thing is about ot grow soon. This is not the first time, its the forth time already. Bought eyedrop from EyeMo's competitior. Eyemo costs $5.75, while Optrex costs $5.50, i think.
Went for night focus and did sbq sbq sbq and bio spa. LOL! Before the night focus, Grace, Bili and I went out to eat. Grace's laughter was sooooo.... funny and cute. LOL. We had sweet talk. I mean secret talks.
Random: Now i know how you people feel about me. So all of you can take off the masks of yours. God damn it! It has been 2 years. Stop treating people or rather just me alone as a toy. Yeah, I admit I treated you people as my friends and life without you guys just seems dull. But right now, it seems better that we go on separate ways. Trying hard to salvage on these does not work at all. So whats the point? Since I am so insignificant to you, let's just be strangers. I cant be bothered anymore. Just hate me for all you want man. Burn all those postcards.

Happy Birthday Singapore!
9 of August is National Day which also marks the Day of Independence. Rejoice Singaporeans!
What's different about this year National Day is that they changed the songs to make it different but familiar to all of us. I think they did all these so that we would not get bored with the old national day's songs. It shows that Singaporeans are creative. Some (you know who you are) said that the songs were weird, while I personally feel that some songs were not bad. I don't know, I don't have music blood in me.
In addition, they added some comedies in the parade to liften up the spirits in the audience for celebratory mood. I laughed my socks off when watching the shows. The local accents remind us that we belong here, in Singapore. All the "lah, lor, leh, walau, sian, etc"
What's similar?
The performance put up by SSA (Singapore Soka Association). They are always doing formations. This year, they did the word "MUJULAH". Ok, i admit. The letters they formed were straight. But, there is a need for something different other than formations. The marching was the same. I took a bath during the marches. I don't really know how to appreciate marches, but i know it is tough job.
What's spectacular?
Of course, it was the fireworks that brightened up the dark sky and dazzled the audience. I love the location of my house as I can catch a glimspe of the fireworks every year. I shot some of the fireworks with my handphone camera. It sucks for its not clear enough.
There was another thing that was cool. I don't know what was that. It looks like a cuboid and people were standing in each square box. That is called cool.

I wish i could attend next year's National Day Performance and bring a good camera (if i have one) so that I can take pictures of the fireworks. Im in love with fireworks.

A Hot Meal is Denfinitely Needed
Did Additional Mathematics on Differentiation and Integration from 10am all the way to 4pm. My stomach forced me to head down to the hawker centre. Waited for 20 minutes for the food to be done. I can't say what food was that because its in the 'Guide to Getting Fat' plan. I was supposed to dine in Swensens tonight but I can't abandon Trigonometry. Hence, there is a change in plan. Bens & Jerry ice-cream and a Full-Cream milk to replace Swensens ice-cream. Yes, you guess it correctly. These food are part of the plan to get fat as well. I don't want to get fat, but i want to be fatter?
Watched Marley & Me for the second time while eating my food like a ravenous wolf. Come on, I'm hungry. A hungry man is an angry man. Grace taught me that. My sister stole half of my food away. Shrugged. Marley & Me is a touching show. My mum cried after watching it. She dislikes dogs because she claimed that taking care of animals is a burden which adds on to the household chore.
This brings me to cats. Some people are scared of cats. Hello, the cats are the ones afraid of you. Human beings are more than 10 times bigger in size than cats. Look at the glow in the cats' eyes, it looks beautiful.
I repel Youtube. I don't know what happen but since yesterday, I found out that I can't play videos from Youtube. This would mean that half of my entertainment is gone.
If you are curious to know, the other half of my entertainment is shopping. To spend money is a bliss. Some stuffs may be a little pricey but as long as you cover the price tag, you can be a shopaholic! :)

National Day Celebration
Our school celebrates National Day today.
Rejoice Clementeens!
However, it was not that perfect after all. We sang the national athem, then one national day song then the pledge. According to Wing Tong, they had most probable forgotten about the pledge. Then, in class we were supposed to write up a reflection on "what does the pledge remind you". Apparently, it does not remind us anything because the UG could even forget about the pledge, what else can the pledge remind you?
A pathetic celebration for the secondary 4s and 5s for the school claimed that because of H1N1, we were deprived of the concert. The motive is to minimize contact. Okay, then what's the point of having the students to take their temperature in the morning? If anyone had a temperature above 37.6 degrees Celcius, he/she would be sent back home. Therefore, I believe that the secondary 4s and 5s would be safe if they were to go for the concert because everyone is healthy.
I hope LiXuan will recover soon!
While my classmates were painting, I sneaked out of the class to film the Singapore's map. Actually, I just want to play with the camera which costs 3k. Hallelujah if i break it, but I am not tha clumsy. The camera is cool, but heavy. It weighs 2kg. I had muscle aches on my right arm now.
Hours later, I was dragged up to the classroom by Miss Toh. Come on, it was so boring in the class.
So, I sneaked out again!
