First Job
Yesterday was the first time I worked! I was a sales promotor of Isetan and sold Arena swimming wears. One hour $5.50. Worked for 12 hours in total excluding break time.
I woke up at 7am and rushed to Thai Embassy. Expected, I lost my way and spent one whole hour walking around orchard just trying to find SHAW house. Sheesh. Because staffs are not allowed to enter by the main entrance. Okay never mind. Then, changed name tag and started work. I got another partner who looks like a guy but is a girl. Okay her hair is funny, covers her eyes. When the doors opened, all the customers just grabbed whatever they saw. Crazy people. This was a private sales for only Isetan members then all items had 30% off. So everyone chiong. I don't even know why people come buy swimming wears. Not suitable still buy. Then I always needed to rush to the storeroom, get the size, rush back to the counter. But i always forgot how the mothers look like. All mothers look alike.
My mother came to look for me and went to eat lunch together. She is pro okay! She came into Isetan even though she don't have the Isetan membership card. (not allowed to even enter the shopping mall if you are not a member) At that point of time my legs were aching but i still can tolerate.
30 mins break over and i rushed back to work. My partner super funny and ah beng. She said "you see! Everything all neat neat one. All in order. Walau now then u come back." Lol! She is so funny.
The storeroom was super messy. Starting of the work, all the staffs who came in were smiling. 2 hours later, every single one said "die la i dun want to work anymore!!!!! pek chek la!" Lol!!! Then another 2 hours, they started to complain and gossip about the children messing up the whole department. Then they started to be very very angry. Lol!! But nvm.. my customers kids were good.
My partner went for dinner for 2hrs. She pro la! I handled the counter alone. I ate dinner alone. Lol!! Sat at the stairway (couldnt care anymore) while eating and smsing. Lol!!! Thanks a lot. :)
Went home after packing the storeroom. I was supposed to end work at 9.30pm but need to pack so dragged till 10pm. No extra pay though. Went home and received a text message from my manager. She told me to return the punch card tml then i realised I forgot to punch card. No, I don't even know whats punch card. My sis said no punch card, no pay because no records of when i started work and when i left work. Wah!!! Heart pain! I sms to grace then she called me. Lol!!! I called my manager and she said will still give me my pay no mater what. :D!!!! Yay!!! Im lucky!!
Anyway, it was grace birthday yesterday. Lol!!!!
Err.. now its raining means no tennis later!!! Yay!!! Go grandma hse instead. yay!!!
